INTRODUCTION

Each month in 2008 we will be adding a  species.  We’ll discuss the “What, When, Where and How’s” of each fish.

The “What” will cover the back ground of the species.  As any hunter knows, one must know its prey in order to catch it.  We’ll touch on its habits, favorite foods, etc. 

The “When” and “Where” will uncover the seasons, regulations, and the hot spots for encountering the targeted fish.

Then the all important “How” will dive into deep discussions of proven strategies for catching the fish.  We’ll have pictures, diagrams and insights from local anglers and captains that catch these fish on a regular basis.

We’ll try to cover every possible aspect and method, but as we know these aren’t the only ways to land the objective.  We at VBSF and Get Reel Lure, Co. hope you enjoy these informative “How-To’s” and that they help educate you on landing more and bigger fish, as well as helping us all remember our responsibilities to be good stewards of the seas.
