TIP:
Private charter boats carry
up to 6 anglers on a custom fishing trip either inshore or off for one
set fee. The boats do mostly trolling however they do bottom fishing
also. Trolling is where the boat puts out up to 7 lines at varying
depths & lengths and is moving the whole time dragging baits. You can
catch such species as Blue Marlin, Blue Fin Tuna , Wahoo, Dolphin, King
Mackerel, Blue Fish, Spanish Mackerel. While bottom fishing you can
catch Croaker, Spot, Flounder, Trout, Drum, Cobia, Amberjack, Sharks and
Spadefish.

Captain Brad O'Berry has over 30 years
experience fishing the lower Chesapeake Bay and Atlantic coastal
waters. He will customize a trip to make your day on the water a
pleasant and memorable one. Your bait, tackle and licenses will
be provided. The Rest Assured III departs from Long Bay Pointe
Bait and Tackle just off of Shore Drive in Virginia Beach. We
fish the lower Chesapeake Bay and Atlantic coastal waters year
round for Rockfish, Cobia, Red Drum, Black Drum, and bottom
species as seasons and weather permits. The Chesapeake Bay
Bridge Tunnel is just a short distance from Lynnhaven Inlet, and
it's seventeen miles of concrete pilings and rock structures are
home to many different species of fish. Catches along this span
range in size from small bottom fish to Cobia, Red Drum and
Black Drum, some weighing up to 100 lbs.

welcome! Guests are encouraged to bring sunscreen, hats,
raingear, food and beverages. We provide the
